Man this sucks so bad!!! I walked out to my parking area close to my job tonight and discovered by Nissan Armada was gone. A for few minutes I started questioning my mind, like am I losing it or what, didn't I park right here etc. Well it still hasn't hit me yet, I guess it will take a few days. But Damn!!!my baby is gone!!!! I went through all the routine stuff already, cops, insurance, bank etc. Went through the towing system and the city doesnt have it. I had no tickets on that thing anyway. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens. I'd really appreciate it if anyone in my general area. Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C kept an eye out of me. Its an 04 Nissan Armada, Sedona color (redish brown). It has the chrome grill inthe front and the chrome dollar pillars. Very easy to spot especially with the pillars. Well guess I'm back to driving my trusty old jeep or a rental from the insurance company untill my armada is found and if not I guess I have to go through the whole process of paying off the one stolen and having to get another. This whole situation just plain sucks especially when, I've only had it for 6 months and had gotten it for a really good price. Well I guess I better start looking now!!!
Thanks for hearing me out guys.

Whatever happened to the $100 key and all that? I saw that the beast won't run until it's turned over with a programmed key. Sounds like someone had a key programmed to your vehicle somehow.

Sucks to have your car stolen at anytime, especially your Miss 'Mada. I would be PO'd and not know what to do either :chainsaw:

Tow trucks don't need keys.

That sucks. Probably on a container to south america or in a pile of parts by now. Too bad they don't hang car thieves like they used to hang horse thieves in the old west. Now its just a slap on the wrist. Give them 5 years manditory for repeat offenses. This will put someone on notice and allow for mistakes, etc. but as it stands, there are guys out there who have been caught stealing cars 20-30 times and they are still on the streets. That's wrong.

Mine is an 04 Sedona LE with the chrome grille, sunroof and sand interior. You're right, it stands out like a sore thumb! 04 was the only year they made that color and I don't think there were many of them in the first place. It's been two years now and I have seen only 1 sedona Miss Mada (other than mine) and I've been through Texas, Georgia, Florida three times, Mississippi and Alabama, oh yeah, and Tennessee twice. But I will be watching.....

I live in NW Arkansas and I have in the past month have seen three different Sedonas around and in Arkansas alone. I guess it just depends where you live.

Guys, thanks for the concern. Its now 8 days since its been stolen. Yes most likely is was taken with a Tow Truck. Well Now I'm just waiting for the insurance payoff which should occur around the middle of February. Does the insurance company (Geico) pay off what you owe the bank or blue book value of the vehicle? Either way I have Gap insurance as well. Hopefully I should be driving another Armada before the end of the month, however a used Hummer 2 has been calling my name for a while now...lol..

I've heard good things about the H3 though....that is if you can give up the roomy cabin.

Insurance Company Info

Hi Beeftek. Insurance company owes you acv of your vehicle, not blue book. What they will do is find like vehicle in your market area and average out asking prices of all those vehicles. The good news is you have GAP coverage so there are no worries!!!! I am an insurance professional, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. The claims process sucks, but I will help!!!!! :)
