I currently have a computer hooked up to the factory nav screen but i don't like the picture quality....i'm thinking about upgrading to a vga monitor but i'm wondering what signal the car actually sends out the navigation on...is is RGB PAL or NTSC and if so what resolution....i need to find a screen that can accept vga, composite and whatever signal the cars navigation is displayed on..

anyone have any info that could help?

The screen is RGB. I have my PC hooked up using s-video and am getting decent resolution. If you change the screen you will likely loose the Nav feature. There are a lot of wires going into the back of the screen. Play with some of your PC resolutions. bump up your font size
