NAV TV / RGB2 Installed with Factory DVD & NAV?

Hi Everybody!

"Love your station- I'm a Long time listener, first time caller..." :)

I'm seriously considering having a rearview camera installed on my '04 for $1200.

One of my local auto A/V specialty shops is "selling" me on the NAV TV RGB2, even though they have never installed one in an Armada with factory DVD & NAV, they are "assuring" me that this will work.

Has anybody out there had any experiences (either good or bad) with this product working with the factory equipment?
I'm concerned with the unknowns...
...will it negatively affect or change any of the Nav, HVAC, Trip, Maintenance or Audio info screens?
...is there another recommended product available that has been proven to work?

Any input or advice is greatly appreciated- Thank you in advance!

I added rev camera using the avelectronic.com switcher. http://www.avelectronic.com/products.htm
Very happy with it. I won't own another vehicle without adding this. And the reverse camera is a must. I use the mirror 85% of the time but a quick glance to see what is setting off the rear sonar is great.

Thanks for the input.
Yes- "the camera is a must". If all goes well- (besides the huge safety factor)I can't wait to hitch up the RV in style!
