Navi Questions..

Picking up our new '06 loaded LE tomorrow.. so excited. :D

I have a question about the factory Navigation. When i leave the dealership, will i just be able to type in my home address, then bingo, bango, it will start working?? Or do i need to buy the maps dvd from the dealership before i leave?

Any step by step instructions online i can read up on, so i can be on my way quickly tomorrow?

The DVD should be already loaded with all the maps prior to you picking up the vehicle. It will work right away. I will warn you that the Navagation owner's manual is quite confusing and cryptic. The more you use the nav system the easier it will get.

Here is the link to Nav Owner's Manual. It is listed as 2005 but is essentially the same.

Ask your dealer

My dealer programmed in my home address before I left. They should do the same if you want.

The Armada has arrived! She sitting in the garage right now. :)

Just about. We look at it as a oversize 3 car. We choose to get one 18' door, and one 9' door. :)

Still have to finish the driveway in the summer, the little ramp up is just so we can use the garage until then.

Crappy pic, cut off most of the garage.. :eek:
