I have a 2004 armda and i would like to see how i can hook up my rear tv to the front navigation system monitor without making changes to the dvd-rom. I know that the 2006 armada comes with a rear view camera. does the 2004 have it?

2004 does not have a rear view camera option.

You have to get a video converter system like the one from avelectronic.com
Then you can add reverse camera and other video sources to the front screen as well as 3 other screens if you have them.

Also sheck out this place. Seems a little cheaper than AveElectronic. You can even get the plug and play harness to make installation easier. My cousin just got one for his Acura at $250 including the plug and play harness.

Camera was on the Armada from '05 on. They QX had it on all years. You should be able to retrofit one. The NAV is the same for the qx and mada.

Navigation software upgrade?

I bought an '04 QX.....any way to get a software upgrade? I have a 2005 DVD Navigation disc, but the player doesn't recognize it. I live in Gilbert, AZ where everything seems so new, it doesn't recognize hardly anything in my area.
