What's up folks, bought a new 06 LE two months ago. Primary upgrade I wanted to do immediately would be the video system in the ride. I bought a TV-Nav interface from www.tvandnav2go.com for $250. It is a plug and play unit so no wires will have to cut or splice, fairly simple to install. I ordered two Clarion VMA5192 5.8" headrest monitors from ebay, both for $329. These monitors are nice because they come with built in infrared transmitters. I wanted to go larger like a 7" but the 06 headrests have gotten smaller and more curvey from previous models, so 5.8" was the biggest I could go. I also ordered Clarion 10.2" overhead monitor OHM102 for $499 from Fry's that comes with 2 wirelss headphones. For the DVD player, I got Clarion VS755 for $150 on ebay. As soon as I get all install, I will post pics, etc. Thanks!!!

Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the TV-Nav interface box, already put it in yesterday, it's behind the dash. I did check out and research the avelectronic box, but it was too freakin expensive, plus the install was a lot more difficult. If you go to tvandnav2go.com, and call them up, they probably email you a picture of the armada plug and play model. With the plug and play model, you go behind the nav monitor screen, disconnect the primary adapter to the dvd-rom, and plug in the new one from the interface. The only downside about this is you only have 2 video inputs. What I like about this model is it comes with a remote switch that toggles back and forth from DVD to regular NAV screen, just in case a 5-0 comes next to you...

Well I bought the Budget version of the AV Electronic box and it cost me $250. I have the 05 Pathfinder not Armada...but i just wanted to check out what the other box looked like. I'm gonna email tvandnav2go to see if the Pathfinder version is also plug n play. The Budget version box also has 2 video inputs, didn't include the switch. I had to buy that separately.

O well i don't want to go thru the process of returning and buyin the other box...just a waste of time...coz i'm gettin it installed this sunday so might as well just go ahead and get it done. I don't want to wait any longer...

but thanks neways

Unfortunatly, the monitors do not have tilt adjustments nor the headrests themselves. My guess is, since they're labled as active restraint headrest, they have to be fixed. I do have to recline the seat back a little so the 2nd row captain chairs have a direct view of the screen.
