just picked up my used 05 SE yesterday. its got 30600 mi on it, but is in great shape. black, black cloth, drop down screen, i believe its a sport model because it has the body color grille (maybe all SEs are like that, i dont know). anyways, gonna throw a 2.5-3" lift on it with some 20s and a 325/60-20 tire. let the modding begin....

welcome, My 05 SE was like this and I traded the front Grill with a chrome one from one of the guys on Club Titan.

Welcome! Procomp has a 6" lift ready to go for us. 4wheelparts.com can install it for $2k or so. Other than that there is some 2.5" body lift kits. Prerunner Gregs is the best.

Sounds like you have an SE. There is SE, SE off-road, and LE. SE and SEOR both have body color grills. Only LE has chrome. The OR has 17" rims and off road logos on it and I think comes with leather standard. The SE has 5 spoke rims.

BTW, here's a good shot of my 20s with 305-55-20. I needed to do some minor moding on the tirewells with a heat gun to stop the scraping.

well, here goes the story: bought the black 05. knew something was fishy. turns out the vehicle had a "reconstructed" title from another state. so, after two months, and almost hiring a lawyer, i gave the vehicle back and got my $$ back. and heres the new 05: got it for less $$ (about 5000 less) and it has only 19000 miles. that lift i bought for the black one is still sitting at work, so its goin on in the next week or so, then in the spring, some 22s i think. we'll see. anyways, thought i would re-introduce myself since i havent been on here for a couple months. enjoy!
