We are already getting reports that this adds a few more HP than the volant even with the optional air scoop. We sell both, and this seems like a great contender.

I am trying to get one of these from Injen now to do a review. I will let you know if I get it. I know this they look great.

it looks really good, but so is the Volant G3, now its getting more and more confusing, can some body shed a light on this,

On of my customers from the Titan board just swapped out his Volant with air scoop with this unit. He said there is definitely more power.

i have a volant and was very satisifed except the fact that my tires are to big so i couldnt install the ram air scoop also, which is what maybe +1 hp, (which after dyno runs with the injen it comes out to a little more then the volant and the ram air scoop combined, about 28 HP 43 ft lbs of torque, the volant says only 20 and 40 but i never believe that u get all 20 or 28 frome ither CAI's, but im juyst trying diff mods, plus i dont feel like waiting 1 month, or 2 on a group buy, i saw the ingen so i went after it now i have heard nothing but good things on it, so we shall just wait and see. plus im a little more in favor of the look of it compared to the volant look. I will also be selling my Volant If intrested with the ram air scoop for lik(e 200.00 shall we say????

Does this intake draw air from the fender opening or hot under hood air? It's not clear in the photo. How much extra noise does it produce?

Draws in from the fender. From the fender, then pulls it into the box which shoots periodic spirts of cold air, into your engine, no extra noise, (compared to the volant - It's probably the same maybe a little more sucking but no extra noise what so ever.

Now, if money is no object, the Injen is very good as well and is the most powerful, but also the most expensive.

Here you go. It's mainly just the TUBE that changes color. It's called wrinkled black.

^ Mainly less restrictive than a stock intake system, allows the engine to breath better, frees up some horsepower. Just don't expect and HUGE gain, but some... Plus, when you go WOT, it sounds awesome!

Also it can gain you some MPG if you grandma the pedal.
