I bought a third keyless remote and have programmed that with the help of the instructions found elsewhere on this site. But how do you program a new key? I understand that there is a security feature embedded in the Nissan Key. The local dealer will charge $18.50 to make a duplicate key...but there will be a "programming charge" of $88.00 and all the other keys will need to be at the dealer at that time to be programmed or else those keys will no longer be recognized by the Armada.

Any help or self-programming info out there?

I tried the same thing....no luck.

I had to go to the dealer. They had to plug in a computer and download the key code , then transfer the code to the nissan key computer.

I got lucky and bought a used truck and the dealer said they would program it for free because I bought the truck there.
