:noworries Hi,

Just bought a 04 Armada (4x4, LE, Chrome rims). I traded in a 04 Toyota 4runner Sort Edition 4x4 V8. I got a great deal on the Armada, there were still 3 04's on the lot and they had to move them. I am having a hard time getting used to all the noise in the cab but love the size and POWER. I have been watching this site since I bought the Armada. I found a lot of info I am hoping to use to get rid of all the rattles and I am not worried that Nissan will take care of the breaks, eventually.
This seems to be a great site with a lot of good people and good info. I must say if I had logged onto this site before I bought the Armada, I do not know if I would have made the purchase. But, every time I turn the key and hear the sound of my new beast I think it will be worth all the hours in service department to get all the bugs worked out. :noworries

Nice chrome wheels - did the dealer provide those? Or did you get those done after? In any case - would you provide the approximate cost? My dealer got me some aftermarket rims that have the Nissan centercaps so they look "sorta" factory. I usually prefer the factory look but the original Armada wheels look so boring. My issue is that the 20 inch rims and 305/50 wheels are HUGE and although they look very cool - the ride does suffer some. I do have the factory wheels in storage and was considering getting them chromed. I have only had my '05 LE a few days - but I love this thing. Lots of people checking this SUV out.

The dealer had these wheels on when I bought the ride. They listed on the window for $1499, I was told cost was $800. It's a long story with finance but I ended up the rims "thrown" in. I really like the look of the stock rims chromed on the galaxy and 18's are large enough for me. I do like the look of 20's and up but I agree with the ride factor. Anyway, my wife drives it now and then and anything larger then the 18's would be bent to hell, LOL.
