Wassup all,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new 05 Armada LE 4X2 owner. I was at the dealer until midnight trying to work the best deal and hope I got one.

Prior to purchasing the car, I had a major decision to make on whether to purchase a 4X4 or 4X2, and I'm hoping I made the right decision being that I'm from So Cal and dont really do much except for Vegas and the occasional trip to Big Sur. (Buyers remorse step in here).

Anyways, I've been an avid reader for some months here being an previous 05 LE Pathfinder owner and always wanted to upgrade to its bigger brother. Hope to get to know most you of more and thank you for being the decising factor on purchasing this beast.

Smoke LE 4X2 <---arghh..perhaps should have bought 4X4?
Graphite interior
Captain chairs
Tech package
Lots of loving

Until next time my fellow Mada addicts....

Welcome!

I have the 4x2 (here in SE Texas all we ever get is rain and I don't off-road) and no worries. Sounds like you made the right decision- enjoy it!
4 x 2 is the right choice unless you off road very frequently. I have been very happy with my 05 LE 4 X 2.

I like the 4x4. I use it for occasional off road, ski trips, and towing boats on boat launches. I've also used it to pull stumps. ;)

Thanks for making me feel better. : :)

Nice truck BTW. Its rare to see a Brawn Mada done right.

Thanks yourself.

You'll see I usually give the brutal truth. Figure people would rather have that than a Yes man.

But in all seriousness, I've only needed the 4x4 one time. That was for said tree pulling. If you aren't doing some more extreme activities, you are probably better off without it. 4x2 is faster, uses less gas, weighs less, and is cheaper to buy and maintain. ;)
Welcome to the club! I got the 4x4, and I don't really ever use it. I live in So Cal, and never off road. In retrospect it would have probably been wiser to get 2wd. But a 4x4 is something I always wanted. Better off saving the money unless you really need it.
