Evening All,

I'm very new to the Qx world, I have been a Range Rover driver since 1999, but now its time for a change, I have totally lost the plot with Land Rover, and will not have another vehicle.

Infiniti is fairly new in the Middle East, but in my search for a new 4x4 this is now at the top of the list, I would however appreciate some input from existing owners, please, any comments at all would be useful, the internet does not seem to have many info points for Qx56's at all, this appears to be the busiest (any info to the contrary appreciated), All of my questions relate to a brand new 2006 QX56.

I have read several horror stories about brakes, have these issues been fixed?

The BOSE is standard but the gulf spec does not have sat radio, what are my options for iPod integration?

I have seen some good aftermarket sites, most of them sponsors on here, if you had 3,000 USD plus shipping of 1000 USD, exhausts are heavy!!!!, what brand of, air intake, exhaust, TBS and any other suggestions would you buy?

Thanks in advsnce everyone

Alex

QX= Larger, faster.
Brakes were fixed last year. All brakes since start of manufacture are covered by warranty and can be replaced free with new designed parts. The new ones are actually the best brakes in the class and the QX has the same stopping distance from 60 mph as a Honda Accord.
You can order the sat radio kit and add it later. The Bose has an aux port in the front to plug in an Ipod.
Air intake and exhaust are pretty much similar to one another. Get the exhaust you like the sound and looks of the most. Gibson seems to be the one most get. I'd get stainless, which costs more, but looks nicer and lasts longer. TBS is debatable if it does anything. I'd get the programing for the computer instead. And a Supercharger makes it a real beast. You can also put Stillen headers on it. Skip the shorty headers. They do nothing. :hi:

Hey TB,
you said programing the computer? is that the 2 degree mod or is that something else you are talking about?
