Took my Armada to the dealership today to get the brake fix. It seems good so far, but they nicked one of my alloy wheels.

Anyone out there know of a product to fix nicks in the wheels, or is it just a matter of getting similar color touch up paint?

That's what I'm thinking, too. But, I didn't want to have it at the dealership for another day if I could repair it myself.

make them repair it...pretty dumb to be ok with the dealer screwing up your vehicle just because you will be without it for another day...make them pay for a rental if its that big a deal

How does a dealer nick an alloy rim? Drop a tool on it? Ridiculous. Have them repair or replace. Repair is still bucks. Get out your irrate customer face.

You must go to the same dealer I do! Same thing happened to me. I'm just ignoring it, not worth hassling with them about it. If they replaced it, they'd probably leave the tire unbalanced, and then I'd get to go back yet again!

Thanks for all the input guys. I'll probably take it to the dealership this afternoon and show them what they did and see what they will do to rectify it. I'm not too keen on new wheels, as I agree with Campfamily.

They guys in the shop must have thought they were on a NASCAR pit crew.
