It depends on what ports your laptop has. If you have a serial port you can use either the ISO single cable or the iTran. If your laptop doesn't have a serial port you will need the iTran cable and a serial to USB adapter. The ISO cable can't be used with the serial to USB converter, so if you have USB but no serial you will need the iTran and converter.
