I just got an oil change on my 04 Armada, after getting home i checked the oil dipstick and it is showing the oil level at the low mark. I callled Walser Nissan, and brought up my concern. The service writer said that it is normal to see the oil level at the low mark because the filter holds some oil and it does not completely drain.
I even checkec the level after the car has been parked overnight and it is still the same level.

Has anyone have any feedback on this?

The oil level is OK if it is anywhere between the two marks, low and high. It does not need to be all the way to the Hi mark, and never above.
That being said, I would expect to see the level closer to the H mark than the L after sitting overnight.

Do you think it is ok too add oil to bring it up between the L and the H. Even right after an oil change.Oil Dipstick
Sure, that's OK. That's what I would do. But be sure you don't overfill.
