Do you mean the armrest/cupholder on the second row bench? The Second row center console? Not sure what you are talking about. I have the bench and mine is fine.
Do you mean the one on the back of the front passenger seat? Mine is holding up fine and that's the one my 3 year old sit behinds so it gets beat on regularly! LOL

mine kinda fell apart, the guy who installed the DVD in the headrest, took it out to hide the wires behind it and broke both plastic retainers holding the cover, so I had to purchase new retainers from the dealer each is $6.95
well mine is still under the warrranty, my armada isonly like 8 months old but i have had so much trouble with it already but i still love it
How do you get it down? Does it just pull from the top? Anyone have a picture of what it looks like down.

Am I missing something here? The back of the passenger seat has a plastic plate affixed to it. When you put the seat horizontal, as if you were going to put a ladder in and wanted to increase storage, the flat seat back acts like a table top. I don't think it "comes down".

I think thats what he meant, he just didn't realize the seat folds all the way foward to lay flat. Also if the seat was reclined and you have power passenger seat you have to manipulate the controls to get it all the way flat.
Thanks guys, I had misunderstood. I thought it was like the fold down tables in an airplane, but couldn't find any referance to it in the owners manual. My wife had a Chrysler minivan a few years ago that had the same thing with cupholder molded in as well.
