i have 05 pathy le and i would like to hard wire the audio/mp3 of my lowrance gps. it comes with hardwire kit.(Hardwire adapter with 1/8" stereo jack for wiring into car's stereo system) i don't know if 05 pathy le has an accesory jack at the back of it(stock bose stereo). another thing is how to removed that stereo? i can use FM Modulator but i know hardwire is better with audio quality. t.y

The service manual doesn't show the factory bose stereo having an aux input. I think most factory stereos don't have aux input (but may be wrong)...

I don't know how long you can wait -but I am planning on getting the xm tuner kit and installing myself. I probably won't be able to get to it till end of this year before i have time. But I'll post pics....

There are no aux inputs per se. You can look at:

I installed myself a Eclipse AVN5435 navigation, Blaupunkt DVD player, steering wheel interface, and Sirius tuner with the help of people on the board. I can tell you how to get the dash apart, it's super easy. I could do it at a stop light.
