I hear they have a different electrical harness. Looks like a PITA to get turn signal mirrors. Should be about $350 a pair without install. This is the price for Big Tow mirrors last year.fiddlyD said:can we buy and install the new power mirrors from the 06's??
i wonder how much they are

Not hard, but not a plug and play. I'd be fine because I professionally installed stereos, alarms, etc. for 3 years. Most people would have a problem doing this though. Also, Burtman has some he is selling for less, but I think they aren't stock and they don't have defrost.fiddlyD said:$350 is not bad.....as for the wiring ... all we need to do is pull a few wires for the indicators, put a switch for the folding functions.. doesnt sound that hard..

It should just be a direct bolt on. Then find the wires for the turn signals and run wire to the switch area in the door. The new switch will also plug right in to the stock position. Get the harness for the new switch and wire it with al the wires and then you are plug and play. I installed for a few years, the wiring should take an hour or so. The $500 cost is for the mirrors but not the switch or harness. Probably closer to $600 when you're all done.casinojames said:Lot of interest on this, hope someone makes it work!!

Actually the folding option is an awsome feature for city parking and auto dimming...need I say more? Well I will how many times have you enjoyed not being blinded by your rearview mirror auto dim feature only to look at your side mirror right into some bmw's HID's? $1000 bucks is pretty steep but if it won't kill you then give this option some thought.92TripleBlack said:![]()
I heard $500 total. Oh, well, suits me right for getting data second hand. Regardless, $500 for both was way too much for a gimmick to begin with. The only real purpose it serves is to go "look at this".![]()
