I have the stock DVD system in my Armada. Is there anyway to have the dvd player play a movie but be able to listen to the radio up front. My son will just watch the screen but this will let us listen to the radio also. Everytime I switch on the DVD player and then turn to radio the dvd quits playing.

Just hit the A/V button till you see the little headphones pop up in the display. Then he can listen to DVD in the back and you can listen to the radio.

Yup. Radio works from the front speakers, headphones work for the DVD. Everyone's happy.
