Was the rearview camera available for the '04 model year or was that introduced with the '05 model year? If it wasn't available for the '04 year, can it be added to Armadas with NAV?

Not quite sure but i dont think it was available during the o4 era, but its standard with the tech pak in 05 maybe you can cut a deal with the dealership on installing it.

I have confirmed that the rearview camera was added to the technology package for the '05 model year. Now to see if a person could buy the parts to add that to an 04...

'05 option, but it was available on '04 QX56 so you may be able to plug and play if you have the NAV. I doubt they developed and installed different NAVs for the two, especially since they were on the same assebly line. Probably cost more in inventory space and building the units than just putting them in. You may need to run wires though.
