In step 6 is sounds like your totally winding out the engine for 10 seconds? Is that really OK to do?
Resetting the ECU??
Hey Ya'll,
I was reading the threads regarding installing cold air intake systems, IE: K/N Air filter/manifold combo's and I have seen some posts recommending to reset the ECU?? Will somebody please give me some guidance here. I recently installed the K/N California legal system on my 2005 LE and I do not recall in the instructions anything about resetting the ECU. Just how do you go about doing that if it necessary??? BTW I also put in a dual exhaust flow master 50 series system and with the two systems combined I have to keep from lighting off the tires whenever I have to jet into traffic. Certainly no loss in low end torque as some of the post I have read have mentioned.
