Has anyone ever purchased rims online? This seems like the only place I can find a decent deal for some 22" rims and tires.

I purchased my first set of American Racing 20's online and got a killer deal ($500 shipped). I would recommend it, but as for tires buy them locally so you have a place to take them back to if they don't balance or are defective in some way. If you buy a name-brand wheel you should have no problems online.

I got mine from discounttiredirect.com ebay auctions. Just go to http://stores.ebay.com/Discount-Tire-Direct-Auctions. I purchased both wheels and tires from them (slightly used, if not they look absolutely new). $300 for the rims and $560 for the tires, both shipped free. The only draw back is that you have to keep an eye on what they are auctioning off. I watched their auctions for a couple of months until I found the wheels that I was looking for. Goodluck!
