I have the factory Bose system and sometimes the radio station will change up one turn then go back to the preset by itself. Has anyone heard of this? It does not do it all the time just when it wants to. HELP!!!

Does it happen when you are driving or just parked? I know when I had my factory unit in, I all ways hit the steering wheel controls when making turns. Just a thought.

It happens whenever it wants to. Seems like more over rough roads although not always.

If you push seek to rapidly, i.e. before it tunes in the next station, it will go back to the original station. Is this what is happening?

I am not touching any controls when it happens. Just does it by itself. It tunes up one click of the dial then it goes back to the previous station. Sometimes once sometimes more than once. No rhyme or reason to it.
Guess what!!!??? I just discovered today that I am having a similar problem. Twice while driving today my radio station changed from a preset station to 101.7 (which isn't even a station where I live and is not preset on my stereo.) Both times I was listening to a different preset station and it just switched on its own. I was NOT touching the controls on the steering wheel or on the stereo itself. I recalled reading this thread a few days back and decided to wait a minute the second time it happened to see if it switched back on its own but it didn't. Just when I though I had most of the kinks worked out something new comes up! I guess I'll mention it to the dealer when I go back for my next brake fix. Very strange.
Mine has not done it for the past week. When I take it for the oil change I will also tell my service about it. My brakes also have the judder at 3,500 miles.
