This is very easy, but just in case someone isnt' sure. Here is a quick direction with pictures.

Running boards are held together by 3 brackets. Each bracket is held to the truck by 2 screws each. One screw is permently in the truck, and the bottom screw is screwed into the truck. Remove those and thats it...Running boards off, and ready for ither a new set, or just like it is :cool:

does anyone have pics of what it looks like when removed? Wondering if it would look better?

thanks for the pics. Still on the fence whether it looks better off/on. But since I got 2 small kids, they gotta stay on for me. Are you going to leave them off?

PS you need a 12mm socket and a 13mm socket to remove the running boards

here’s my armada, I’m gonna try removing the steps very soon, my front tires rub the step even with a 2” lift in front, I have 20x12s with 285/55 tires
