We have a 2004 SE Offroad and I was wondering at what mileage did you guys replace your OEM tires. I swear we only have 18,000 miles and they are getting ready to be replaced. Isnt that a bit early? Did you guys replace witht he same tire or go for something else. She doesn go off road so even a nice quiet tire that does good in snow would be fine. Any suggestions? I know they are not cheap to replace. I have almost thought about buying a set of chrome 18 off off of ebay with the tires for summer and then go bcak to the OEM for winter. Does anyone else do that? Thanks

My '04 SE Offroad 4x4 is now at 29,500 miles on the original tires. I have about half of the tread left.

Frankly, I wish they WOULD wear out! I want to put BFG AT KO's on but will wait until these need replacement. I drive this truck hard and fast. Lots of performance runs, testing, quarter mile runs and runs up to the speed limiter. I also pull an 8,000 lb. trailer (not at the same time).

I think that the only difference might be that I am obsessive about tire pressure and keep them up on the high side - 36 psi and don't rely on the tire pressure sensors.

My 2004 SE Offroad has 36k on the BFG rugged trails
I bought a brand new set of these from the dealer for my regular SE. I actually like these more than my Mich Xterrain SUV tires. How are the tires at 36k miles.

BTW: Glad you brought this old post up.
