I have an '04 Armada SE Off road, and although I love the vehicle, I have had problems galore. The newest problem, that they cannot seem to decipher, is an obnoxious steering wheel shake when I drive on the freeway at high speeds (55 and up). This is not the shake that I had before the brakes were replaced (2 times), rather, this is a shake that I experience when accelerating. I do have aftermarket rims, and they are trying to tell me that those are the problem, even though i had the same shake before I put them on. Oh yeah, I also reported the shake when i had the stock wheels on and they told me that it was normal with the SE-Off roads to have that kind of shake because of the big tires. Are any of you guys having this same type of issue? Also, have any of you had success with the buy back and what were the end results? I really appreciate any help that you can give me. Thanks.

I have the 04 offroad as well and I experience the steering wheel shake. I tried it with my stocks and with my 24's. I had the 24's rebalanced with the roadforce way and the machine states nothing is off. I Took it to the dealer and they said it was the wheels and nothing they could do.

Let me know what else we can do.

I have a tiny bit on some roads, none on others. It isn't speed dependent. I chocked it up to monster tires without a stabilizer. All tires are balanced. Let me know if this helps any. ;)

Tried the Road Force Balance

Took it into Les Schwab today and they rebalanced the tires and that seemed to help quite a bit. one of the tires is a little off and they were able to get it balanced as best they could. I was wonderning if there is any type of warranty that would cover this? The tires do have about 15,000 miles on them. let me know what you think. Also, thanks for the info. It's nice not to have the thing shake like crazy on the freeway.

Thanks again
