I have an 04' SE, No DVD system. I have read the how to from llajumpvid, but need some more assistance. I figured it might help anyone else out there attempting the same thing. My 04' does NOT have the wiring harness under the console to tap into. I have only the HU to pull new wires from. Attached are pics of the back of the HU, and the harness i think i need to plug wires into. I need to know which slots, and how to tie it all in. Any help from llajumpvid or others would be much appreciated by me, and hopefully others trying the same thing. I have had an FM modulator way too long!!:thumbdown

It looks like from the M46 diagram, that the plug is upside down compared to the pic? Am i looking at this wrong? I guess there is no other place to plug those wires in, i just want to make sure.
The m46 diagram is looking at the front of the harness.

I was able to wire the DVD into the factory HU, but found that the plugs i bought were too large. I basically stuck the end of the a stripper pair of RCA cabels into the harness as explakined by llajumpvid. I took it for a test drive this morning, and as expected, the left channel speakers stop working. Wire came loose. I stopped by Radio Shack and picked up a 9 position Female D-Sub Connector (276-1428) and the pins that were included in that were a perfect tight fit into the harness. I hooked the RCA ends into each of the pins, and had to use a small screwdriver to push the pin all the way in. Took 5 minutes to swap out, and now, the DVD is perfect.

Thanks llajumpvid!!

Do you have to have the HU with the DVD button for this to work?

I don't have a DVD button, but exactly what baseballfanz said is correct. it works awesome. I should have done this a long time ago, Really easy to do. Now i just need to find some decent wireless headphones. Bestbuy had a pair, but they were $45.00 each. I need 2 pair. Any of you found good hephones out there, online or other?

My SE didn't come with the rear audio controls, I bought the Rear Audio Controls off ebay, I'm going to add in one of LCD's as well. Do I need the corresponding HU with rear audio controls button to get that rear piece working properly? I don't have a harness up there either, so I will have to fashion one.

If the same HU comes with the option that has the rear AV controls then your should be able to add the wires. I'm not sure about what options are combined on the Titan.
