Thank you. Can you help me out with the problem I am facing with my hook up?

I was able to get to the harness behing the HU and hook up every all rca negs and pos wires on their respected pins. I jumpered the FES and AUDIO ON pins. When it was all complete I did a test and was uinable to get any sound form the car speakers.

When I try to get DVD on the stereo I see "NO VIDEO" on the stereo.. I would like to know what I did wrong and if I did the correct thing with connectiong FES to AUDIO ON.

I think you have the FES to Audio ON wrong because it's that jumper that makes it think it has the oem dvd. Go through it again and make sure you have the harness turned the right direction when looking at the Pins, it took me a few tries to get mine done because I kept looking at the pics and diagrams wrong. If you know for a fact that yours is correct then we'll need to research further on your year model to see if it's different but I think they're all the same. If you can post a pic of it, that might help too.

I followed the picture from this link http://www.clubarmada.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2291&d=1144885751. I have pin 40 and 39 jumpered together. No matter which way I look at it, these pins are the ones at the very end of the harness. I have a 2004 nissan armada SE without the bose system. I will sent pics later on and scramble with it later on today.

I haven't ever seen that pic before and that looks like a different harness than I used. I used this Wiring Diagram from post #2 in this thread which is using Pins 1 & 2 on harness M202 that's the Top Left Harness in the harness pics below the diagram so my Jumper is Horizontal where yours is Vertical.

So i used the wrong harness? and if so can you point out the wirng on the picture and post it?

I still don't know which harness you used and I have no idea where or which one is in that pic, I haven't seen it before and that pic doesn't show anything but the harness itself. Post #2 on this thread has everything that I could possibly post already here. Can you post a link to the thread that you got that pic from?? I used M202 located here:

Like madamadness posting indicated, I do not have the brown harness you indicated in the reply. I the pictures I have all hook up to the rear of the stock head unit. I used the harness dipected in the picture to to connect my RCA audio left and right and jumpered 39 and 40.

These harnesses from picture plug directly in the Head unit. ( I might have said that already)


I want to thank you for all your help so far. I will post a pic. of my wiring in a few hours.

So that's M46.... and that all looks to be right. I guess seeing a pic of yours should help see if there was an oversight.

figured it out

Thank you for all your help, I figured it out. The pins were not pushed in all the way and not making contact to the HU when the harness was in. I pushed all six down, put the harness in and tested it out. It all works like it was done by a pro. Just the way I wanted it to be I will post some pics.

This is amazing stuff

I know this is old news, but I just did my 08.5 CC LE Titan by following these directions and using the M&D system. Wow it worked better than new, James hooked me up by giving me a set of headphones that have two channels also. Thank you anyone who may read this and was invovled with the original research.

I know I'm new to this forum, but I found some products that I think would help anyone who wants to include video to their front screen on 08 and 09's. Check out http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/. They have a module that you plug into the existing harness and have switch for switching the front screen to a external video source.
