I put in a complete video system.

Myron Davis Head rests
Put in a 7" in the factory location
Nav switcher for the factory gps screen
blaaa blaaa blaa

But I can't us my factory system to play mp3's. Its a 2005 Armada. Of course my after market DVD player does.

I thought the I read before bought this truck that the factory player does. My wife is mad because I can play then in my stock Ford truck but this thing that looks like a Star Wars Death star cruiser can't play an MP3 for my wife while the kids are watching a movie.

Thanks for the info.

I don't know if the factory 05 has the capability to play MP3's, get her an iPod and use the Aux input. That is what I do while the kids watch movies.

You're right, I just grab the dis and check it, it's in another format not MP3.
On a side note, someone with a Titan was having problem playing burn dis, dealer told him that burn dis is not good for the stereo, why in the he!! did they make it mp3 compatible if you can't play burn dis? :D

my stock cd changer will play mp3's.
Not likely. You are probably taking mp3's and burning an audio disk. If you are putting mp3's on a disk then you should have between 100-200 songs on one disk. If you can only get 20 or so then you are converting the mp3's to standard CD audio format.

Hate to steal the thread but what the heck is the AUX port. And if I do have an iPod what cord do I need to use this AUX port?!?!?!
There is a port on the dash that says AUX that you would plug a 3.5mm plug into. The cord you are looking for has metal tips on each end (it'll look like a headphone cable with plugs on each end).
