Been driving a rental SE for one month as I shipped my Suburban 4x4 down to Baja for it's retirement. So happy with the Armada that I went out and ordered a SE 4x4 with Bose and XM. Delivery is tomorrow, can't wait. Looking forward to adds and mods and glad to be a member of the group!

Got It!!
Picked up my new Black 06 SE 4wd and Bose system. I'm really enjoying the power, sound and comfort! Had to look hard to find the basic stuff I wanted without all the extras. All I wanted was cloth, bench seat, bose and 4wd. They're all so tricked out here in SoCal. In fact the dealer had installed billet grills and really cheesy chrome 18's on the truck which I had removed.
Looking forward to surf trips and snowboard adventures, I also ordered the hatch tent for camping
Anyone had experience in sand?

I have been in a little sand here and there. With only 2WD it requires a steady foot, and significant attention to tire pressure, how you are turning, and keeping a good eye on the surface. It's better than my old Toyota Previa, but as it's well on the plus side of 5,000 lbs, I still wouldn't want to have to dig it out...snewman said:

No problems with sand for me. I put it in 4wd hi. But then again, I also have some pretty good tires.snewman said:
