In my neverending quest to maintain THE BEAST's reputation as the Hottest SUV rolling on four wheels I could not resist totally whiting out the tread on THE BEAST's running boards and rear bumper. I also had the rear windshield wiper and base painted white and after doing so I will probably be painting the front wipers as well. I am still waiting for my factory rims to return from being chromed. I'll post new pics as soon as they arrive. For those who were waiting, I have the rearview camera and Nissan liftgate housing and will be doing the install as soon as I am able.

I like the rear bumper....How much did it run you ?

Nice

Looks good, with the bumper painted, if you glance it looks like a QX. Have you looked into the painted spoiler that Burtmans has???? I think that would set your truck off.

I see that you're a Kappa, my best friend also carries a cane. I didnt pledge when I was in school.

Looks great. Before you do the front wipers though, a word of caution. Ever notice all wipers are black? Porsche did a study decades ago and found that painted wipers are very distracting to the driver and that black is the least distracting. This is why they are all black. As long as you keep that in mind but still want them, go for it. I had white wipers on my white '88 mustang 5.0 convertable.

Thanks. I tried to take the the better features of the Q like the the color keying and add it to the Armada plus the proper chrome to achieve my style. I am considering the spoiler just waiting for my next move. I pledged at VA State Spr'94.

The "Beast" looks great....did you ever consider putting on some chrome side moulding trim like the QX56 has? I found some chrome side moulding trim on ebay and thought about putting it on my ride but I don't know...here is the link.

A little, but I could live with them. Try putting white masking tape on them and turn them on and see if they bug you. Easy reversable way to see the difference.

I thought about them but I'm kind of leery because they don't cover the entire molding. If I find the right one then, I'm on it.

Clarion nice

How do you like the clarion nav system, does it function as good as it looks. Have you compared it to the Garmin 7200

Looks like the painter missed the hinges and lift handle on the rear window! Curious, why did you leave the center chrome on the bumper instead of solid white?

Looks very sanitary, not to mention beautiful. :awesome:
