I had to voice my personal opinion on this., I'm reading a lot of b/s about who likes what and who doesn't like. My question is, if you're reading a thread and it is not of you interest why wouldn't you just go to the next instead of making a silly comment??. I have read so many threads that I have no interest in knowing of doing what that person did and I just leave it alone. This forum started out great but it is getting a bit too personal and alot of good minds can be lost if you guys don't stop the b/s. I am not for or against anyone but who cares who likes Pimped out rides or offroaders???. come on guys let's grow up a little. I don't care who is offended by my comments but i just had to say something. Peace.

your thread sucks AND I'm offended by it. ;)

I agree, even Thumper (from Bambi, which we watch 3X/day) knows 'that if you can't say anything nice...'

uuups! I wasn't sure what you were saying. I am glad you agree with me because what i was trying to say is the same thing you said. "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything". I am glad we're on the same page.. ;)

I agree and disagree with you guys. We can't please everyone all the time. Some times someone post and when they don't get a response even if it's a "I don't know" they get irked. But on the other hand it takes all of 3 seconds to scan the post and decide to ignore it.

I would rather hit the "new post" link and have 5 or more post come up, even if 4 out of the 5 aren't worth much, than check back once a week and there only be 3 post.

This forum has started to grow quite a bit in the last few months, as sales of the Armada have taken off. I personally enjoy the wide range of memebers opionions. Granted some post are more opionion than technical data. But I would rather have them participate in the forums than not. As our base builds there will be more members who are "do it yourselfers" and have more technical info to add which all can digest.

I know of other forums that give the impression if you havent read and understood every post since 2004 then don't ask. Which leads to a scenario where newbees are afraid to ask questions because they will get flamed. I have been lurking/active on most of the Armada/Titan forums since the begining and have to remind myself that not eveyone has "killed as much time" surfing these forums. A lot of newbees don't realize that the question/comment they have has be stated 100 time previously.

In my opionion our site doesn't get so many post that its a problem with "post whores" who just responde to every single post. So I say post away and I'll use my right to responde, not responde or not even read the post. I just ask to please be descriptive in your thread name so I can decide to read or not before entering..and try and post in the appropriate forum.

Where are you seeing these posts? I've yet to run into any harsh or "b/s" comments. We're all Armada people whether we're lowered on 24's, stock, or lifted 4x4's. This has been one of the smoothest boards I've seen.

ANDY. If you have not ran into any of these in the last few days then maybe you are the happy go lucky guy. All I am saying here is if someone post a thread and when you read it it has no meaning to you why would you respond with "that is no my thing or I'm not into that or...." isn't it best to just ignore it if it doesn't do any thing for you. People don't realize that this forum is like a part time job. Whenever you post a thread you have to at least check back to give people an answer to their questions and it bothers me to go into some nonsense. you have to read every post to see if you can help someone or even learn something new. I personally enjoy sitting here everyday on my spare time to either learn something or help someone. I never said there is any problems with the forum but let's keep the nonsense to a minimum

When you post on msg boards you are subjected to various opinions. It's just the way it is. As we get more people on this board we will get people with various personalities and degrees of "niceness" Everyone has different opinions. It would be boring as hell if everyone always agreed on things.

If you think this msg board has tension, you wouldn't survive on other msg boards. I pretty active in my honda forum and people there are just outright asses at times but you have to just ignore some of those "mean" people. There are times when people post up their cars on my honda board and people outright say "That's a piece of ****" "why did you do that to your car?! It's ass!!"

NOt everyone will like your car or what you do. You do things for yourself not for other people to enjoy. If you want to put on something, just do it. Who cares what people say on the internet. The fact remains, it's your car and do you want you damn please.

I totally agree with you guys! I'm just an old school guy. you said it best using the word asses. to me it is enough if you don't get a reply on what you post. that's a very powerful message!!!

Even sometimes when I post something, I look back and hope it didn't come out wrong. I think as long as we are trying to positive and open minded, its' all good. I do agree with you that it makes no sense for people to put down other people's rides. You're right, if you don't like it, then just let it go.
I used to be a pure offroader and thought people were crazy for getting a 2WD SUV or pickups. Made no sense to me at all. But now that I've got kids and lots of stuff to haul around, I totally see why people get 2WD SUV's. They look good and some of us hate minivans.

I did go offroading a few times in my 2WD Armada. I must say that I've pulled a few 4WD Expeditions and Tahoes out of mud or snow. Besides, I still think a 2WD with locked rear diff will out perform 90% of all 4WD's out there. I guess I've gotten off track.

Anyway, this is a great forum. If we can all help all figure out how to get rid of the rattles......

I have to say that in my opinion :) this forum is one of the smoothest around. Many others that I'm on are way worse than here.

I've found everyone to be insightful, fun, and overall good to read. Our traffic isn't as high as clubtitan or TT, but that's fine by me. TT especially is pretty lame these days.

I've been laying pretty low the past couple of weeks but I haven't noticed anything out of line with regards to posting.
