Want to remove my V8 emblems. Are they only held on with adhesive, or are they drilled?

I think virtually all emblems on any modern automobile are "sticky-backed" on. BTW new ride, cool dude.

Then you're going to look like the 2004 you just got rid of.
I'd leave them on.
Keep us updated on what improvements you feel on the 06.
Why did you make make the switch?

I just don't like those HUGE emblems on the side. Thinking of taking the LE and ARMADA off the back too.

Nissan bought back our 04, because of all of the problems we had with it. The 06 is the replacement. It feels far smoother, quieter, much better put together than the 04. There are a whole lot of changes, see my other post in General Discussions for the list of things I've found.

Thanks! Can't wait to get the trailer hooked up to it! We're going away Thanksgiving weekend, and we won't have 1000 miles on it by then. It's going to be tough leaving it in the garage and towing the trailer with a borrowed truck.

After hearing you say that you are not towing until after 1k miles, I have a confession to make, I pulled our (then) new Toy box with only about 300miles on the clock. That was a wild week toy-wise, we had sold our truck & 5th wheel, bought a new Armada plus a new dirt bike & ATV, 3days later got our new toybox, towed it home from RV dealer, never unhitched it, loaded it up and left that day to Hollister for a week to play with all out new toys. I spent every night reading manuals over a beer, I was in heaven. Our Armada seems none the worse for wear. In fact, we have never had a bit of trouble with our brakes, who knows maybe they like being broke-in hard.
To take the embems off use a hair dryer to heat it up a bit and slide some dental floss behind it, use a sawing motion to slowly take it off.

Finished it this afternoon, looks much better. They're just stuck on, as expected.

Hello everyone, been lurking for a while and found lots of info here before I bought my Armada. Thanks.

I have removed all of my emblems except for the Nissan emblem on the rear hatch. Is that one glued on or is it drilled?

Thanks for the help.

J.
I took all my emblems also. I"m thinking of taking my nissan emblems off too. :)
I'd like to take the nissan hambergers off too. It's easy to see that there are pins on the one on the grill. Would speculate that the rear hatch 'burger is pinned also. Guess you'd have to take off the trim panel inside the rear hatch. Wonder what that involves?

dave - paint the front berger black or get a new grill
