Valve stem caps - stolen

First, I'd like to say Hello to everyone as a new member to the site.

Well, I don't know what it is about the valve stem caps on my wheels, but they are always stolen. People too cheap to spend $2.

Does anyone have or recommend any anti theft valve caps?

never seen anti-theft caps but I am just waiting for the day to find our nice shiny metal caps missing.

btw welcome.
Kids stealing them for their bikes?

It took me a while to figure it out. I was missing 2 nice, aftermarket, metal valve stem caps from my bmw one week. About a week later the other 2 took a long walk. They look pretty cool on the teenager's bikes, and they probably make for a good story. Hey, they could have keyed your truck
After getting mine stolen, I now have anti-theft ones. I found 4 cheap black plastic ones at the Costco tire center. They have been with me for 3 months now. If someone steals these, they need them more than I do.
Thanks everyone for your comments. Well, went to one of the advertisers on the board and bought two sets from spin-free.com

Hope this works.

I'm new to the tire pressure technology, but doesn't the valve stem have to be capped to prevent slow leaks and for more accurate readings?
The caps are to keep dirt and other debris out of the stem. Their purpose is not to seal the air.
