New problem. Seems my list of problems grows whenever a car hits the first warranty hurdle. So at 32k, I'll add this to the list.

The velcro on the back of the second row seats is tearing away from the carpet flap. This is the flap that secures the board you use to creat a flat cargo area when all the seats are laid down. On the passenger side, it has torn almost completely off. In the middle, it is starting to do the same.

Anyone else seen this problem? Is it covered under the initial warranty?

I would imagine this would be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty that is valid until 36k (unless you bought an extended warranty)

From my experience (this is my first Nissan, by the way) Nissan seems to have really spent the time and money on the drivetrain, and everything else was a bit of an afterthought. The interior on my SE is definitely worse quality than my previous GM vehicles. The plastic shows even the smallest scratches, the cloth is weak, the seats are poorly made, the knobs buttons feel cheap, etc.

Nissan redesigned the Altima interiors for this same reason- maybe the '07 Armadas will get the same treatment. We'll see. In the meantime I'm going to upgrade to leather.

Try using first water with some simple green and then Meguires dash cleaning foam on the plastic. Killed most if not all the scratches I have gotten. ;)
