Installed it in June on my Armada, bought it from http://www.autoanything.com/products/product_gn.aspx?p_id=1236&se=waag_grille_guard.
Now, 6 month later lower bracket broke in half. WAAG replaced it with the same brackets, clearly not STRONG enough to support its own weight?
Anyone else having the same problem?
Sincerely,
Zilya.
Update: 01/03/2005.
WAAG replaced brackets with stronger metal (substituting 5/16 for the 1/4 material). Mistake in my note above!!! Sorry WAAG! Looks much better now.
Thanks, Zilya.

What?! That's crazy! Thanks for the info, man. That was the guard I was lookin' at getting vs. a Westin bull bar. Nice to know!! Good luck with the new bracket(s, lol).

Bull Bar

I bought an almost new Chrome/SS Bull Bar from a TitanTalk user for a couple notes and could not be happier. I found most guards too intrusive and large. The BB is small enough for my tastes yet big enough to add to the Armada's looks.

I realize that most guards are more for looks than functions so I went with what I thought was the best for me.

BTW the tow hooks are a P.I.T.A. to get out, as far as sturdiness I put quite a bit of weight on top of the BB after I installed it to make sure it would not fall off on the highway.
