Pops is right. I had a weird issue with my old Xterra and just made sure that it was documented (several times) with the dealership. 2 years after my warranty expired, I took it to a different dealership for an unrelated issue and on a test drive with a Master Tech, he asked how long my weird noise was occuring. Finally, someone knew what was going on and how to fix it! Since I had a nice paper trail on the issue, Nissan consumer affairs fully refunded me for the money I spent at the dealership to have it fixed. Needless to say, I was impressed. I ended up buying 2 more Nissans...one being my totally cool Armada!
