I tow a 2004 SeaRay 240 Sundeck with a 6.2L Merc, aluminum dual axle trailer with surge brakes, I'm guessing around 7500-8000 lbs, it towes like a champ. I also tow a utility trailer loaded up with whatever I need to move, or my 04 Kawasaki Prairie 700 Quad, along with my sons 150 Dinli Quad. Sorry cant figure out how to get the picture up, heres a link.

We tow a 24' HiLo Travel trailer. It weighs between 5500 and 6000 lbs loaded. With the low design and weight, it tows very well.

I tow a 23' Outback w/slide. I figure 5k but need to find a local scale to verify. If anyone is familiar with the SoCal/ NV 15 run...i pulled the Cahone Pass at 65. Maybe pushing it a little hard but keeping up with a Dodge diesel with a 25' trailer. I also cruised up that Baker Grade at 55 with plenty of pedal left. I am more than happy with the towing capabilities.

A light load compared to some of yours.

Towed this 2000 miles like it was nothing. Payload weight is maybe 6000lbs total with all my tools and wheels/tires in the truck.

Looking to get my own aluminum trailer eventually.

Fancy meeting you here. Maybe you and Ralph should work on some light weight forged wheels for the Armada. We three all have such great taste!
LOL.. I've been busted! Yeah look at what the cat dragged in.

I picked my Armada up a few weeks ago.. and have been going back and forth on what to do... I have gone from contemplating 6" lifts to doing absolutely nothing. But I have this itch that just needs scratching!

I wonder what the RS198 would look like with a 305/55/20 on it. Normally they run them on Cayennes with a lower profile tires.. so I don't know. Too motorsportish for the 305/55?

One thing.. I bet we could get it to come in under 25 lbs. without sacrificing the load rating. Reading posts here has me thinking just about everything that is currently available weigh a ton.

I can twists Ralph's arm all day.. with you on board we would just need two more victims to make them a reality. :)

Nice wheel. I prefer the unclutter clean look.
Go for the supercharger, cat back and air, then it will look like you did nothing, but you will still have scratched your itch! Plus, you could blow by those folks towing Audis and Porches on their way to the track and claim its all stock!
