I had a feeling it was closer to 25-30%. I had 35% tint one time and it way lighter than this. Actually the lower the %, the darker the tint is. The rating on the tint say like 35% means that 35% of light is getting through your window or so. So if you have 20% tint thats pretty dark there. Where do you live? I know for sure that you dont' live in cali, because you can't even tint the front windows. Luckily, I live in texas and we are less strict on things. hehellajumpvid said:I have 20% and think it is a VERY close match. 30% is probably too dark. True match is probably closer to 25%.
Agree!!!!! I did 20% and in nearly all lighting it is very close. 25% is the likely rear.llajumpvid said:I have 20% and think it is a VERY close match. 30% is probably too dark. True match is probably closer to 25%.

Oops, in that case I would say the rear is probably between 15-20% The back is just a little darker than my 20% but not much. Im in Houston and the tint place said the fatcory match was likely a little closer to the next step down but I was a worried that the next step may be more noticible as it is illegal for 20% and less here. I would go 20% again if I had to do it again if that helps.Tien said:Actually the lower the %, the darker the tint is.![]()
Nice! I live in Houston also. Where did you get the tint at? Did they do a professional job? If you don't mind me asking, How much was for the front tint?
