Hey all, has anyone found any info on the Y63 Armadas coming with the Pro4X package? A few articles recently showed a sneak pic of a 60’s U.S. patrol in the back ground and the new Armada in the foreground showing only the grille which resembles the Frontier Pro4X. On car scoop (2025 Nissan Armada Teased, Goes On Patrol Sept 3 | Carscoops) they stated after inquiring with Nissan if this would be a Rock Creek edition like the pathfinder and coming up New Rogue to which Nissan replied No, this is the Armada Pro4x. Thoughts?

Loving it and many folks asked for a PRO4X version to better compete with the Sequia TRD.. but. I also found 2 cons/disapointments compared to the 21-24 models.

-Looks like standard /mandatory connectivity is even more integrated than with the post-'21 models.
Will it be harder to disconnect the data stream to corporate on what you are doing?
Google anything is spyware and I imagine its baked in even deeper than the current Gen Nissan Connect spyware form readin the descriptions.
I was able to partially* defeat it on my '23, by disconnecting my telematics antenna so now at least it does not send real time location/speed info to big brother, but how much more difficult will it be on the '25+s?
*Why only partially? since the BCM still stores all your location info, phonecalls, speeds, phone numbers called, microphone recordings in near perpetuity and it can be pulled at the dealer at maintenance stop. The "delete data" button on the dash control unit simply does not work and is a placebo button. The only way to wipe that data out, is to disconnect the BCM and let it run out of juice from its capacitor which takes a minimum of 3-4 days according to one tech I know.

-Fuel Tank size, this redesign would have been a great opportunity ( especially with the larger body) to improve our ho-hum full capacity of 26 gallons.
I realize with the V6 TT motor it may be a wash for unrefulled range, if the fuel economy is even just a little bit better, but still seems like a missed opportunity to improve the vehicles resiliency via a larger tank.

I am considering the 2025 Armada Pro-4X and would like to hear others' thoughts. I recently had the opportunity to see it in person at an auto show.

It is more reasonably priced than other full-sized competitors. While there is less storage behind the third row compared to domestic GM and Ford products, the fit and finish of the Armada are superior, and it offers better gas mileage. Compared to the Sequoia, the Armada features more comfortable seats, additional room in the 2nd and 3rd rows, and more storage behind the third row. Additionally, it is not a hybrid. The engine is part of the same family that has powered the GTR and Z for years. The technology in the car is advanced and appears user-friendly, featuring mechanical buttons for many functions. The drive selector is push-button, which may take some getting used to.

The Pro-4X has enhanced off-road capabilities for dirt roads and snow, although it may not be suitable for serious rock crawling. This Y63 model is mechanically identical to the Patrol (though the Patrol offers more engine options), and numerous videos already show the Y63 Patrol navigating dunes in Dubai, essentially showcasing the Platinum trim with 22-inch street tires.

Please share your thoughts. The driving impressions embargo ends on December 15, and the vehicles should arrive at dealerships soon.

I think the PRO4X is most interesting to me as well.
I just got a '23 new almost exactly a year ago so I am not in the market, but the vehicle certainly seems tempting.
I dont like how expensive these kind of vehicles are becoming but the Armada certianly seems, in that crowd at least, to offer a lot of value as equivalent vehicles seem to be alot more $$.
Also I like the reliabiltiy reputation Nissan has (re) established in recent years when its competitors have all been trending down , some of them by a lot.

I priced out a build on the Nissan site. With the Premium Package (might as well keep the family happy), it is about $78,500 before taxes and licensing. Steep. But when I compare it to other full-size SUVs, it is about $5-15K cheaper. I think the Tahoe Z71 is the closest competitor for me, but for $5-8K more you get less horsepower, torque, mileage and build quality. It does have more cargo room, and if I choose Chevy I would probably jump to the Suburban. It's too bad Toyota fumbled the Sequoia with regards to comfort, room, and engine issues.

I’ve been back and forth between a few vehicles. Ordered a Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ but in Canada that might take up to 2 years to arrive. Have been looking seriously at Tahoe Z71 and Armada Pro-4x. The Nissan dealer has two Pro-4x’s coming in 3 weeks and I have a deposit of a fully black one with all options. The options, technology, luxury finishes, availability and price are all better with the Nissan. I also prefer the TTV6 engine.

After looking into the specs for the 2025 model and since I currently own a 2021 SL I am disappointed to see the following no longer available in the SL trim unless you step up to the Platinum or pro 4X

-No Leather appointed seating (You get synthetic)
-No Moonroof
-No fog lights
-No front & rear air shocks

The standard gains for the 2025 SL trim are:
-Heated steering wheel
-Rain detecting wipers
-Klipsch premium audio

The Fuel tank is now 23.59 Gallons in all trims (I assume cause of the TTV6).
I'll be holding onto my current 21 until I am able to afford a platinum if ever; LOL :D

I test drove a Pro-4x last week. It drove great and I love the finish and tech on this vehicle. It fits perfectly what I am looking for as I regularly get into mid and rougher ground but still like my luxury some. The one I drove was blue so not my colour but I am expecting to take delivery of a gun metal/black roof one later this week. Should be fun!

The black one I had reserved had some delays in shipping out of Japan. Built but just sitting there so I’ve now accepted the change to a gun metal gray with black roof that is expected the week of Jan 13.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I’m beholding. Nice Nice Nice

Wow. That is nice. Congratulations! Please post more pictures as you see fit!

That confirms that I should hold out for the Gun Metallic. I have been pestering all the dealers around me, and I am using different websites to try and figure out who is getting a gun metallic with the premium package.
Just curious but can you purchase (Gun) Metallic in Canada?

For me, the beauty of the PRO-4X lies beneath the skin when I compare to other full-sized off-road capable SUVs. I am not a huge fan of the headlights, but I can live with it.

I don't know the Canadian market, but the Gun Metallic PRO-4X pictured above is in Canada. I have been researching the U.S. market, and a shipment is arriving about now. The most common colors available seem to be white, black, and alpine green. For some reason, the West Coast does not seem to be getting many PRO-4Xs in this shipment.

I just placed a deposit on a Gun Metallic PRO-4X with the PRO-4X Premium Package at a nearby dealer. It won't arrive until late February, so I'm not counting my chickens before I take delivery.

For some reason, the Two Tone Gun Metallic/Super Black isn’t showing up on the West Coast yet. I suppose I could always have the roof painted or wrapped black professionally.

Here's an example of a Gun Metallic PRO-4X without the Premium Package (the only obvious thing would be the missing sunroof).

I picked up my Gun Metallic PRO-4X yesterday. I have already driven it over 200 miles in the city and on highways. So far, I have enjoyed it quite a bit, and my family loves the comfort and panoramic sunroof. I have not been off-road yet, but I was considering Joshua Tree in a few weeks.

I am considering getting a ceramic coat, but I must research it more. I ordered some All-Season Floor Mats from PartsforNissans.com, so we'll see if they come through. I had WeatherTecs in our old SUV, and they got beaten up after a few years. Also, WeatherTec does not have mats for the third row.

I saw a review on YouTube in which the reviewer complained that their iPhone was getting too hot. This happened to me initially, and the phone wouldn’t charge unless I removed the slim cover. I restarted my phone, and that seemed to solve both the charging and heating issues. So, it seems like this is an iPhone problem, not a Nissan wireless charger issue.

I discussed mileage on Reddit, so I have included my thoughts here.

Today, I traveled 47 miles, maintaining speeds between 55 and 75 mph for approximately 47 minutes while navigating through heavy traffic conditions but no frequent stops. During this journey, I experienced an elevation gain of 700 feet. The vehicle's fuel efficiency for this trip was measured at 21.3 miles per gallon (MPG).

I traveled 47.4 miles over 1 hour and 29 minutes during the return journey via a different route. The traffic conditions were congested, resulting in a stop-and-go for much of the drive. When not stopped, speeds varied from 10 to 20 miles per hour up to 80 miles per hour occasionally. I floored it a few times to navigate around slower-moving vehicles. The average speed for the journey was 31 miles per hour, and the fuel efficiency was measured at 17.4 miles per gallon. The final three miles involved driving on local streets, which included numerous extended red lights. Before exiting the freeway, the miles per gallon improved to 18.1.

Throughout both routes, I employed ECO mode and utilized ProPilot 1.2 automation as much as possible. I used regular unleaded fuel. I was not trying to hypermile and I kept up with traffic.

I think one can achieve an average of 20-22 MPG on road trips during open highway driving. In urban settings, fuel efficiency may vary significantly based on the extent of stop-and-go traffic.

This reviewer tested a PRO-4X, and he got 21-22 mpg in his 50-mile test:

One of the comments noted 21.7 mpg at 65-70 mph. So, greater than 20 MPG seems reasonable.

Hmm, it looks like the original link to the YouTube video was removed, but you can search for it.
