I have had my Mada for three months and 4500 miles later with no problems. But, then last night I mashed the gas to pass another vehicle and it just bogged down and sputtered as though it had dirt or water in the gas. It runs fine, it only does this when I try to hit passing gear. Has anyone else had this problem?

It could also be some carbon building up within the engine during normal driving. During normal driving the engine doesn't completely burn the fuel. The same reason why we have catalytic converters on our vehicle to burn the excess fuel and help lower emissions...

So Let em rip more often :machinegu and let your vehicle stretch it's legs alittle to get the carbon out.

That is not a normal condition. The 2 degree advance won't cure the problem. Have your dealer check it out. You could have a fuel pressure (bad pump) problem.

bogged? excuse my ignorance, but what does that mean? our Armada has been making some weird noises lately sometimes it sounds like the belt is loose or something. It also makes like a fluttering type sound when accelerated after starting the Armada. It goes away after 5 min. or so though. But this noise never use to happen.
