Hi, so I’ve been having alot of smoke coming out and i do see a leaky valve cover and a clogged pcv, after changing both valve covers and pcv i got a check engine light for both bank 1 and 2 Ive tried swapping the o2 sensors but check engine is still on is it because the sensor is still reading the white smoke? Thanks in advance

I highly doubt those DTCs were triggered from the excess smoke because if so, they would've been triggered even before changing the valve covers. Go back to what you had to remove, possibly a connector wasn't plugged in all the way. Even check the MAF sensor; remove it, clean it along with the throttle body using CRC MAF sensor cleaner spray. Sometimes a dirty or failing MAF sensor can cause corresponding DTCs to trigger.
Thank you for the response i will try that today and will keep everyone updated, once again thank you!

Super late update i cleaned the maf sensor it didn’t do anything but i decided to change the 2 front o2 sensors and now no check engine light weird that they both went out at the same time
