Hi Guys,
Just letting you know I am done installing a Garmin 7200 in my Armada. Hope you like it. Let me know if you have any questions.
The only reason I went with a Qx56 look was because I could not get the Nissan Armada Dash Faceplate for the navigation model. So found the Qx56 faceplate on Ebay, it was used and slightly scratched but cheap(you will probably notice it in some of the pics). I am thinking of sanding the entire piece down and then clear coating it in the future, unless you guys have other ideas to hide the scratches?
I just now need a clock. Anyone know how to wire one up? Correct me if I am wrong but 2 wires for illumination, 1 wire for constant power, and 1 wire for ground, right? I figure I can tap the illumination wire from the hazard light switch, constant from the driver side cig lighter, and ground from anywhere most probably from the cig lighter too. I will need all the help on this I can get, so someone please chime in on the subject.
But anyway enjoy the pics, ask anything you want, or ask for more pics(I will try, as long as I don't have to open it up again).
Thanks.
