New rear sway bar bushings

Just did the rear sway bar bushings. I've already done the rear lower control arm/spring buckets so I can get it aligned, rear end links, bilstein shocks front/rear kyb, front endlinks, front sway bar bushings, new Toyo tires and full dealership alignment.

It still felt weird going down the road, like you had to make constant adjustments to the steering wheel to keep it straight.
After the new rear sway bar bushings it tracks dead straight, no wandering/drifting.....feels like a brand new truck!

Heres a pic of the old bushings and part number. They weren't as bad as the front bushings but did have a pretty good egg shape to them.

I saw your rear end suspension post and just did the rear coil buckets and lower control arms Friday. I found them on Ebay. What a ***** of a job. I had to cut the 4 cam bolts out with a sawzall and used an electric hammer to get the ball joints out.

Both driver's side sway bar mount bolts sheared off when I tried to take them out (New England rust). I just ordered a lefty drill bit / extractor set to try to get them out.

Got the alignment today and it feels pretty good. Can't tell for sure until I get the sway bar back in for an apples to apples comparison.

Oh yeah, it is a real pain in the butt job for sure! Mine fought me all the way out.

I snapped one of my sway bar mount bolts, drilled and tapped it..again no fun at all!!
But in the end it is really worth it, it'll feel great when your all done. And just think of all the money you saved doing it yourself!
