I’m a fan of the Fox shocks & steering components, etc. I think you’ll be happy with them! It doesn’t take much to gain improvement over the stock shocks.

I hope the fox shocks was a good choice on my part but will certainly share an update once installed. Expected ship date is Mon - 22nd and hope is to have it installed over the next weekend. Look forward to more photos. I would appreciate if you think of anything to share that might be helpful for my install.

That looks great - another unique addition. What does it look like under the hood?Installed the snorkel today. Pretty easy install, hardest part really is getting all the og stuff out of fender well and the fender liner itself. She sounds really throaty now, can hear the air being forced into the snorkel. Think a nice K&N filter will pair nicely with this.

Still need to put the fender liner back, but that's a tomorrow's job.
she's getting there slowly.
thanks man!The install looks really clean! I gotta give you props for cutting the lower bumper / air dam + cutting the fender for the snorkel. Job well done - a beast in the making!
It looks incredible. I am loving the ride height.took the car out for a 400k drive today. Wanted to test the snorkel and suspension after they’ve been installed.
the drive is so nice now. The reduced swaying and leaning while moving this thing around is just so good.

nah, you're good. They are adjustable. It looks incredible. I am loving the ride height.
I received all dogs fox setup and was super excited till I installed rhe front suspension and the coils were not setup correctly for the declared 1.5" lift. It lowered my front end. Just disappointed 😞
@Mojo Thank you very much. I will plan to do that.nah, you're good. They are adjustable.
How to adjust Fox Coilovers -
Mine came height adjusted.@Mojo Thank you very much. I will plan to do that.
Question: Did your Bilstein come height adjusted or did you also had to go thru this process?
And the bike in the garage is?@Mojo Thank you very much. I will plan to do that.

I had to install rear suspension to determine correct height so i can adjust the front. Will do this tomorrow after buying the press. View attachment 52787

I'd love to see a Nissan Armada that has been beaten so much that it requires a shock rebuild. Let me know what abuse yours took prior to your rebuild. My only hang up with the ADO kits is the Bilsteins are not rebuildable at all. The Fox 2.0s are rebuildable......but cost of rebuilding is almost the price of a new shock/strut per corner.
I'd still be looking to some of the other options out there for an Armada lift, especially since it is such a beefy land whale at 6k.
Iron Man can ship shocks from Australia, it's just a special order. Kings has a nice Y62 set, Dobinsons and OMEhave Y62 shocks also. Get Luso, King, OME or Dobinson springs for "standard height". Patrol sits almost 2 inches higher than the US Armada. Hence the springs for a "2 inch lift" from the Australian companies end up being closer to 4-5 inches and really wreck alignments.
Significantly beefier shocks, rebuildable (that makes financial sense) and better articulation.
Convenience is the main draw I could see from the ADO kit. It's not bad equipment, just better options exist.
Shocks are typically supposed to be rebuilt or replaced based on mileage, not just use and abuse.I'd love to see a Nissan Armada that has been beaten so much that it requires a shock rebuild. Let me know what abuse yours took prior to your rebuild.
