If you are looking to save $$$ and want the best 100% synthetic Gear Lube use AMSOIL. SEVERE GEAR® 75W-90 | SVG - AMSOIL . You can save even more by becoming a preferred customer Become a Preferred Customer and Save - AMSOIL . Not trying to sale you anything, but after finding out about AMSOIL and used on my 2011 and 2013 Armadas. I don't trust any other Synthetic lubricants for my beasts.
Does not say it meets that spec. If they want my business, they need to explicitly state it meets specs as noted in the description I gave. I have used synthetic oils since way back in 1974 with the first Mobil 1 that was a true synthetic. Amsoil unfortunately is a bit over the top on what they say. I'm sure it's a good oil too. On a side note, tractor transmission oil has similar issues. It MUST state what it is equivalent to or I won't use it. For example Mobil 424 is specific for hydrostatic transmissions and listed for my tractor. It an oil says it meets that spec, I buy it.

Lots of actual real synthetic oils are great. One has to realize that the term "synthetic" in the US is a bit wishy washy. Oil that is simply refined more can be called "synthetic" in the US but are actually still based on regular oil stock. This oil is a true synthetic just like Amsoil.
