I've seen this from multiple cars in the past. I guess it really depends on how much water. It also depends on your climate conditions on where you live. I don't ever get this because I pretty much live in a desert.

That is condensation that formed in the muffler. You will notice it more often when the weather is cooler.

If I notice just a few drops, I wouldn't worry about it. If it was just constantly leaking water than that's a problem.

 

Water is a byproduct of combustion. You will always see some water from the exhaust when the engine is first started and the exhaust system is cold. After the system is hot water is still discharged, but in the form of vapor.

This water will also rot out your OEM exhaust. Many manufactures drill a hole in the muffler so it doesn't pool and rot it out.

But yes, it's normal.

ps: On Lincoln town cars with the dual exhaust you can see it streaming out on acceleration.
