Next update from Pennsylvania. Rolled over 575K today. One big headache to report in the last 25K. I had the cam sensor go bad and blew out most of the fuses. I honestly thought that was the end of my 2005. But after replacing the sensor and resetting all of the fuses, I was back on the road. I was so confident that the next week I drove to Charlotte again (1180 miles round trip). The next milestone starts with a "6", so wish me luck.

Will Smith is my name . I own a 04 Pathfinder Armada 4x4,don’t know if it’s an LE or SE because it doesn’t say anywhere on the vehicle. However it came with the Bose 10 speaker subwoofer/amp factory with Sirius satellite radio ,it has 276,000 highway miles I assume because I bought it with 274,000 miles on it and it is not lacking power and it has never cut off on me nor didn’t start, so for that many miles and every one tells me how pretty it is. It’s that awesome platinum like silver paint and his name is MEGATRON.

2008 SE and I just clocked 245K.
Normal maintenance with everything synthetic (mobile 1) and outside of that 2 radiators.

Well, I finally hit the next milestone. My 2005 Armada currently shows 601,622 miles. Yeah, there have been some hurdles along the way with this many miles. Heck, I even had to have the driver door hinges replaced because they just plain wore out. I say "pfft" to all of you with your synthetic fluids. This baby gets conventional oil every three thousand faithfully and I have every receipt for those 200 oil changes. I even got through Buffalo a couple weeks ago after they got those two lake effect blizzards. Man, they get some snow up there!

Holy cow thats alot of miles! What manifolds are you running now, and have you considered Cajun B-Pipes JBA vband catted headers?

Not running anything special; whatever aftermarket version my mechanic wants to use. But definitely not a Nissan part. I think he said they are Wagner (?). Not 100% sure. This is my daily, so I keep it mostly stock. Only change has been the stainless from the manifolds back. I live in Pennsylvania, so I need to get through emission testing. Not sure if your alternatives would work. I keep the crazy mods for my 1990 Nissan Hardbody convertible. The weird thing is that old truck only has 19K miles on it. You can still see the chalk of the frame from the factory.

Yeah I totally understand wanting to keep it stock for your daily. But just for future reference, Cajuns headers are CARB compliant and direct bolt on, the only headache is that a tune is recommended, but they have streamlined that process for the most part. Also, what have you paid in labor to replace the manifolds, I have heard it can be upwards of $1000.

Honestly, for labor and parts for replacing both mainfolds and o2 sensors, I shelled out well over $1000. I appreciate your feedback and will circle back if this pair go bad. I went with a pair from Jegs on the third replacement and those were junk (lasted under 60K miles), so I went back to a more traditional supplier. I have been getting well over !20K miles on this brand so that would be after 720K miles on the old girl. I don't think I will get that far unfortunately.

Good to know, mine need to be replaced, so I will need to decide on a pair soon or attempt to weld them. Ive heard that some dealers refuse to do manifolds on these vehicles, but that just seems bizarre to me.

Maybe you misunderstood my problems. I replaced the manifolds because the cats failed to pass the emission tests. When you drive as many miles as I do, the cats simply wear out from lack of the reactive metals. I did not have any issues with breakage. I did have one mechanic who refused to do it when the second pair went bad. Yes, he described it as a "big" job.

I see, my manifolds are cracked and are making a ticking sound. Not passing emissions because of failed cats is something I haven't seen much here, but then again, neither is a 600k mile armada
